Matt Haig is a new author for me I have never read one of his books. The book kept popping up on must read lists and suggestions. I am part of a book group that has it on their list too. I joined after they had read it but it got great comments so I decided this was the next book on my list. After reading The Midnight Library I will definitely be reading more of his books.
If you haven't read this book read it as soon as you can it is highly recommended. I can see why this was on best sellers lists and why it gets such great reviews.

Detailed Review
Nora the main character's story takes place in the present time with separate lives given the choices made, regrets to fix or what might have been. The story has so many ups and downs, funny moments and sad moments and just far out there moments as we follow Nora on her journey.
Nora had one of the best character developments in a book that I have read. You can really see and feel her change. The reader can really connect with her emotionally. At points throughout the book you can relate to a few of her situations. Mrs. Elm, Joe, Ash and Dan among others do pop up throughout and they all play a role into Nora's development even if we don't get to know them as well as Nora.
I love the idea having many storylines for the same characters in a single book. With the multiple "lives" here are so many ways to go, like the front of the book says infinite lives. The only nit pick I have is I would have like to see has seen how her "final" story goes just a little more. I get why he may have done this is though. This way we can make our assumptions of how her decisions will effect her and all those around her.
Thank you for taking the time to read my review and I hope you enjoyed the book as much as I did.
