Finished To-Do stickers
Finished stickers

I like to use a paper planner and will use the calendar on my phone to keep track of all different things such as how my anxiety has been, any big events, keep track of my blog plans, plan out my week or month and bunch more depending on what comes up. I find the pages of my planner to be very boring sometimes so I decorate the pages with washi tape, stickers, different coloured pens and highlighters.

To change up the font and look of the words for the to-do list I created my own stickers to fit more with what I really want and like. It didn't take long to create and cut and have a bunch too last a while! I love how the stickers turned out so cute. They are simple and all me. I will continue to make super cute stickers for my planners. I just love to do it. I also have a small sticker obsession.

How to make

Designing the sticker

Screen shot of Cricut Design Space of the sizes.
Screen shot of Design Space with the dimensions
  1. Open Cricut Design Space.
  2. Go to "images" and search and choose the brush stroke.
  3. Adjust image to desired size and colour.
  4. Go to "text" and type in to-do.
  5. Move the wording onto the brush stroke.
  6. Highlight the image and wording then go to "align" and center.
  7. Go to "flatten" at the bottom this should make the image a print and cut.
  8. If needed, resize the image again.
  9. Duplicate as many times as needed.

I try to use the whole sheet of sticker paper. After a few times of duplicating the image I go to make it to see how full the page is.

Printing and cutting

Print screen set up
  1. Turn on the printer and Cricut machine.
  2. Put Sticker paper or label paper into the printer.
  3. Go to "make it" when ready to start.
  4. Click "send to print".
  5. Set the printer if needed and have the "bleed" option on.
  6. Click "continue" when ready to print.
  7. Place the printed sheet on to the standard green mat and take the brayer and run it over the sheet to help adhere it to the mat.
  8. Load the mat into the machine.
  9. Choose "printable vinyl" to create a kiss cut the cut doesn't go through the sheet.
  10. Click "continue" when ready.
  11. Press the flashing "C" when prompted to begin the cut.

Removing the sticker sheet

  1. Unload the mat when the "arrow" starts flashing.
  2. Flip the mat over and peel the mat off the sticker sheet slowly. This is to help the sheet from curling, it may still curl a bit. I just put it under something heavy to flatten it.
  3. Take the scissors and cut off what you don't want. (optional)

You now have your own to-do stickers for your planner or notebook!
